The Bible - at 5 minutes per weekday.

Home

The purpose of this website is to offer a New Testament (NT) reading schedule that enables the reader to complete the NT in one year by reading one chapter per weekday (i.e., no Saturdays or Sundays included).

The objective in this case is to deliberately read the NT of The Bible slowly and consistently so as to gain an even better 1st hand & comprehensive knowledge of what The Bible actually says.

Below you will find a one page Excel Worksheet download (Click on the green "X.").  It has the chapters listed over 52 weeks.  Because the download is a modifiable Excel Worksheet the user can customize the weeks to his/her own dates and date ranges, if so desired.

No obligation.  No cost.  No copyright.   Please spread "The Word."

Any questions, contact Fred at  FoxClimber@aol.com

Please let us know if you find this reading schedule helpful to you, and/or to others.

In addition, if you need a 'hardcopy' of a modern English New Testament, email Fred with your mailing address (no phone number necessary) and, at zero cost or any obligation to you, one will be mailed (within continental U.S.A.).

In response to a frequently asked question (and we say 'thank you' to those of you have have inquired), we are working on publishing a one chapter a weekday Old Testament reading schedule toward the end of this year.

As simply an "fyi," the overall reading time for the NT for a very average reading speed is 20 hours.   Similarly, the Old Testament is about 57 hours.
